Julie Kantor’s previous experience:
Julie built the consulting division at Harris Rothenberg, an international Employee Assistance Firm. She set the strategy for the division, marketed the services, built a library of seminars, trained clinicians, designed and delivered seminars and offsites.
As Senior Account Manager for Chemical Bank, she helped guide the change management process of ground-breaking large-scale merger with Manufacturers Hanover.
Julie Kantor’s support of Equal Employment Opportunities:
Julie worked with Columbia University on two class-action discrimination cases. She was a coach to Sheet Metal Union apprentices and leadership in an effort to create an inclusive and productive work environment. In addition, as part of a settlement of harassment claim by female firefighters, she worked with colleagues to provide sensitivity training to the entire NY City Fire Department.
Julie Kantor’s education, research and publications:
Julie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester. After obtaining her BA, she received her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Psychology from the University of South Florida. Julie’s research explored stress, coping, resilience and emotional intelligence. Since then, she has authored over 50 management, leadership and professional development seminars.
